My son loves the legends of flight video. We watch it about 15 times a week. He loves it. It's good for boeing to have done it in memory of Lisa. She seemed hard working and sad that she never saw the complete 787. I hope to fly it soon and always remember Lisa T Myers. RIP

We are walking this weekend for the second year in the 2011 Seattle Brain Cancer Walk benefiting brain cancer research in the Pacific Northwest in remembrance of our friend and colleague Lisa Tan Myers who passed in 2010.

Lisa left behind a life story of inspiration and now we want to continue that inspiration by helping find a cure for this disease.

I only know Lisa from watching the IMAX movie "Legends of Flight" here in Ontario, Canada. I was curious to know more about her, she seemed like such a dedicated engineer in the film. Having read her obituary and the these condolence messages, I feel that I know her a little bit. The words here struck me as being so inspirational, about a woman who had seen and done so much, and was constantly striving to improve herself, to discover new things and to continually be open to new...

Although I did not have a chance to know Lisa for a long time, I do treasure my friendship with Lisa and Hendra (her only son). Her love for Hendra is so faithful, so providing, a mother's love that never dies.

I met Lisa for the first time when she came to my Bible Study group back in the middle of 2009. Although I do not remember exactly what month it was, I knew that Lisa was looking for an alternative doctor named Jesus Christ who could heal her cancer. Besides her...

The service was very touching. Lisa was just so much fun to be around. She called me out of the blue about 3 or 4 months ago and asked me what a funeral service was for. Being nervous and not really wanting to discuss the whole issue of dying I told her it was for everyone to gather and say goodbye and send you off on a journey we don't get to go on. Lisa said she didn't think it was fair that everyone gets to talk and she couldn't participate. She had acceptance with gracefulness and a...

I have lost a sister, and my husband, they both who I love so much had cancers. I have witnessed how they were incapable to be out of their situation no matter how brave they were. They had to go, left me and the families unspeakable. I met Lisa in The Bible Study Gathering at Widia and Slamet's house. I got to know her there, she was very pretty and brave, and she always will be. She didn't say anything but I knew she would have to leave the world. I can't imagine, how she would appear so...
