Doug White was the husband of my friend and high school classmate, Annette. I first met him when our children were very young and I was helping Annette organize the 15th Year Reunion activities for our high school class at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale. My family and I lived by the Whites in Sunnyvale for over 30 years and watched Doug go from a teen into a fine man. We worried and prayed for him during his time in Viet Nam. He made us all proud as he served his country and saved two of his fellow soldiers lives. He will always be remembered by our family as a good and loving person, who gave so much of himself for everyone he met.
