Not sure what to say?

Dr. Lois Cutter was a great influence and inspiration for me as a student at UNCG. She was also a marvelous personal friend to my husband and me when we lived in Greensboro. Our condolence to Ann for her loss. We cherish fond memories of working in the Cutter home garden.

A formal message of remembrance on behalf of the Cline Library at Northern Arizona will be forthcoming; however, I, too, spent treasured time with Lois on the 1994 Colorado River trip. She proved to be a true gift on many fronts. Lois shared hilarious stories, politely settled in one of the dories early each morning to ensure a spot for the big ride in the rapids, graciously consented to an on-river oral history interview, and responded with a smile to the incessant questions from us...

My thoughts to all of Lois' family on her passing. I was fortunate enough to accompany Lois on her 1994 Colorado River trip thru Grand Canyon - what a joyous woman. I will remember her fondly.

Please accept my condolences in the death of your mother. We played bridge together for many years and always enjoyed her company. She was always my "go to" for plant information.
