I had met Lois quite a few years ago through her son John and also through her good friend and working partner LaDonna Shanks. The thing I took away from meeting her was how truthfully gracious and kind she was towards me. I could sense her heart of gold. Often when asking John how his mother was he'd reply," Oh, she's unbelievable!! My mother is awesome, she could probably outrun me!! She is soooo together! My mother is always great!!"
