It's been a time coming writing in this book, there's been so many emotions concerning my aunts' passing. We all meaning the family were gathered around Lois at the hospital in the last hours, praying and crying, touching her, kissing her but the LORD knew what was best....but it all seemed a dream still, I just wanted to say I'll always remember how you use to call me from all across the United States whenever you needed me to do something for you. I miss those calls, your voice, your Love,...

I became who I am you hold my life in the palm of your hand you showed me right from wrong. But the day you died everything went wrong you knew me oh so well. the day you died my heart fell I will never forget you until I die. Maybe someday we will meet up in the sky i know the lord took you cause it was time. But he should of let me say the right goodbye I think of you day to day woondering what you would think of me today. I love you and miss you.

Grandmother my heart never felt so much pain the sky came together and dropped lots of rain. I thought my life was coming to an end. All I know is I will never give in you were the reason I became who I am you hold my life in the palm of your hand you showed me right from wrong. But the day you died everything went wrong you knew me oh so well. the day you died my heart fell I will never forget you until I die. Maybe someday we will meet up in the sky i know the lord took you cause it...

To Michael (Lois' son) and to Michael (Lois' brother): I grieve for your loss! Lois, her mother Mary, her uncle Mr. Page and the 2 of you were our nextdoor neighbors on Alida Avenue. Lois' political career was just taking off about the same time I moved to Florida. I'll never forget Mrs. Mary's big smile and her good sense of humor. Mr. Page painted the interior of my parents' home and did such a magnificent job that all of my parents' guests complimented his work. I enjoyed his great sense...
