Not sure what to say?

Sandra, so sorry to hear about Aunt Lola's death. She was a graceful and wonderful lady. Mom and Dad (Annie Ruth and Harold) thought the world of her.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

The Family of Harold and Annie Ruth Ayers

Praying for your family. Mrs. Ayers was such a blessing to have met and I was honored to have sat with her when she was here at ECM.

Mrs Ayers was the teacher i always wanted at Harlan. i too remember her soft voice and the sweetness on her face. your family was blessed to have her..find comfort in knowing when you see her again, it will be forever.

Mrs. Ayers lived next door to me on Lee Ave. and was my 4th grade teacher the first year Harlan opened, around 1955. I have more memories of her than any other teacher. She read the Bible to us every morning, starting with Genesis going through it like a novel. We couldn't get enough of it.

Mrs. Ayers was my fourth grade teacher at Harlan Elementary School in 1972-73. She was the kindest and most soft spoken teacher. I have very fond memories of being in her class. My sympathy to her family for your loss.

Sorry to hear of the lost of Mrs. Ayers. The Bible tells us “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.” One of the principal ways to draw close to God is thorough prayer. Do not underestimate its value!

So sad to hear of your loss, Mrs. Ayers was my 4th grade teacher at Harlan and I remember her as a gentle soul who had limitless patience with a group of rowdy children! I don't think she ever raised her voice to us, but was a quiet presence.
