Not sure what to say?

Jack and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. Keep your faith and know that your wife is in good hands watching over you from above.

Dear Mr. Brown,

My deepest condolences on your loss. I met you late last summer at David's house in Alden and remember you well. Please be assured of my prayers. My own father entered into eternal life at the very beginning of this year, as well. Like you, he was a great Scout, too. God bless you and your family in this hour of bereavement.

I will miss you, and all of your expressions, my favorite was "I've got a bone to pick with you" (you had a few bones to pick with me on occasion:) I remember the first time you said that to me as a kid and I had no idea what it meant I thought it was like we were having chicken? and how every time you gave me a plant you would say "now don't say thank you...
