Lou Stringer was my Idol. The Stringer Family were good friends of my father Frenchy Bedard. I met Lou twice at the Oaks Ballpark in Oakland CA.

Lou Stringer was my idle. He and his brother Barney were a friend of my Fathers, Frenchy Bedard. I met Lou on two or three occasions when he played the Oakland Oaks way back when. He gave me a Baseball on one meeting at the park. I followed his Career for many years. I still think of him often.
