Louis afforded us a portal into the past; learning about growing up in and around Ann Arbor, country life as young boy, attending a one room school house, practical jokes of his youth and memorable life exploits. The lore of Louis will live on and we'll miss him very much. Our deepest condolences to Marie and the...

Marie, Gwyn and the entire family ~ my deepest condolences for the loss of such a great and powerful man. It was an honor to know Louis and to hear all the stories that my brother Joe would tell of their working together. May your memories give you comfort through this difficult journey. With love.

I am so sorry about your great loss...
My deepest sympathy goes out to family and friends. May the God of comfort help you through the days to come 2 cor.1:3

Louis was my father's best friend (along with Bucky Harris) In fact he named his best horse after Louis. He was truly a force of nature and a beloved family man. He will be missed by so many people it's incalculable.

I too, knew Louis through fox hunting in the 60's and early 70's. A character bar none. Always 'bigger than life', as they say. I have thought of Louis and his family often throughout the years. I am so sorry. My heart goes out to the whole family.
