Louis C. Fierra, 84, of Providence, Rhode island, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a U. S. Postal Service employee before retiring in 1979, died at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston on Thursday, February 5, 2004. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 9, 2004, 4-8 p.m., at Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 10 a.m., at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, 11 a.m., at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Full military honors will be conferred. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to St. Anthony Church Food Ministry, 5 Gibbs St., North Providence, RI 02904. Arrangements entrusted to Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, Providence, Rhode Island.
