Louis was born on November 20, 1927 and passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. He was born and raised in New Orleans, having graduated from St Aloysius High School in 1944. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at a Funeral Mass Friday, October 4, 2019 at 12 Noon at St. Dominic Church, located at 775 Harrison Ave, New Orleans, LA. Visitation hours will begin at 10am at St. Dominic Church before Mass. Burial and Celebration of Life Reception to follow.
I couldn’t ask for a better grandfather. Grandad was the best grandfather I could ask for. I wouldnt trade him for the world. R.I.P grandad

My grandfather, Louis Generes the 3rd, was a priest for 17 years. I am very proud of him, and I love him so much. I really wish I could see him one last time, but I am so happy for him that he gets to see God. He was such an incredible man, and I love him so much. I hope to see him in heaven one day

I had the opportunity to work with Louis at J.D. Meisler Middle School. I can truly say that Louis was a good man, and I enjoyed working and playing golf with him. A truly long-lived, well-lived life.
