Not sure what to say?

Ii first met Lou in 1989 when I joined the Santa Rita Employyes' Association; what a nice man and true gentleman! He used to take care of our vending machines; so he became our "candy man". God bless you and your family.

May you now rest in peace.

I bowled with Lou in the Santa Rita Employees Summer bowling league. He was a fun, kind and generous man. Always smiling, always kind. The Angels in Heaven have a new friend. God Bless Lou's family.

Condolences to the family. R.I.P. Lou.

A ledgend and one of the most genuine men I have ever met. He made you feel like you were a part of his family. A true role model for many of us young pups. Rest in Peace my friend.??

I was saddened to hear of Lou's passing. It was an honor to know and sometimes work with Lou. From my first meeting with Lou in my early days at Rita, to training with SRU, to cooking at the DSA picnics, and to the unforgetable DSA/union meetings at the Madigan building, he was someone to be around. He earned his ticket home.
My condolences to the Hansen family and their friends.

Thank you Lou for all you gave us. You leave behind a legacy we should all follow.

I knew Lou in several capacities. First as a civilian employee for the Sheriff's office, next as a young deputy and years later while he visited his wife each day at Eden Villa. My mother-in-law was living there at the same time. As others have remarked here, he was a gentleman and no doubt, based on how I witnessed his caring attitude with his wife, a hell of a family man. A true loss. Ray Tucker

I had the pleasure of working with Lou in the 70's at Santa Rita and a short time on SRU before he retired. He will be missed by his family and his Law Enforcement Family as well.
Semper Fi Lou
