Louis William "Louie" Sylvia

I met Louie in 1949 when we transitioned to the consolidated school from the one room schools. He then lost his job as the fire starter because the new school had utilities & central heat. After he met Sandy, they gave hay rides to our youth groups using his Studebaker truck.

So sorry to hear of Louie's passing. May he rest in peace. May his family have comfort and peace in this difficult time.

I was very sorry to learn of Louie´s passing. He was a great friend to many and will certainly be remembered and missed by all who were fortunate to know him. RIP Louie.

I've known this loving family for over 40 years, I'm heartbroken over this loss. Sending to you each of you my love, hugs, strength, comfort and most of all peace as you navigate your life with out him in it. Reading about his accomplishments, a very impressive man who will be missed and loved very much by all who were lucky enough to call him a friend. To the family, I'm so sorry for your loss of a great man.

Cindy, Sandy and family - so sorry to hear about Louie´s passing. What an "icon" he was in town! So many childhood memories with all of you. He lived a long life, filled with family, farm and adventure!
