Louise E. Walker Barnet was born Feb 17, 1925 and passed on March 27, 2020 at the age of 95. Louise is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Dennis Green, sister Virginia Ruth Howard, Grandchildren Jason Green, Jennifer Green, and Great grandchildren, Nanako Ichikawa, Zachary Hamze, August and Mary Walker Green. She also had many nieces and nephews who will miss her too. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Vivian Walker, her beloved husband, Frederick Barnet, and her siblings, James Walker, Kenneth Walker, Barbara Clark, and Wayne Walker. Louise worked for Singing River Hospital for many years as a Unit Clerk. After retiring from the hospital, she volunteered for over 25 years at the Pascagoula Senior Center (PSC). She was recognized by the United Way and presented with The Volunteer of the Year Award, for over 1000 hours of service. She was also once selected to be the PSC Mardi Gras Queen. One of her favorite things was traveling as a member of the PSC Travel club. Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS is in charge of arrangements.
