Joshua Steven Holloway, passed away on May 23, 2024 at the age of 48.

Born on May 8,1976, in Sheridan, Montana to Joy (Adams) Koepke and Steve Holloway. He spent his childhood fishing in the creek behind his grandmother's house and running a muck in Whitehall. After graduating from Whitehall High School in 1994, he enlisted in the Army.

After serving in the Army, Josh settled in Missoula, where he met April Brown. He began working as a contracted diesel mechanic, traveling throughout the United States and abroad. In 2007, they welcomed their first son, Holston, and three years later, their second son, Talas. Josh eventually pursued a career as a locomotive engineer at Montana Rail Link.

Josh enjoyed entertaining and spending time with friends and family, whether it be celebrating a holiday or watching football. He was an avid O-H-I-O State fan. Some of his simplest joys were time spent with his boys, playing tip drills with Holston or chasing Talas around the house, camping, fishing and spending time at Flathead Lake.

Josh is survived by his two sons, Holston (17), and Talas (13), former wife, April Holloway, his parents Steve (Melinda) Holloway, Joy Koepke, sister, August Holloway, and numerous extended family members and friends.

The Service with Military Honors will take place on June 10th 2024 at 3p.m. at Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery (1911 Tower St., Missoula, MT 59804).
