Not sure what to say?

I got to know Mrs. Brown thru McDonald's, & have crossed paths with her every since. She was a rare jewel, & just as sweet as anyone could be.

Oh Lucy or "Ruby" as Marty called you! Such a unique & loving lady! Your memory will last and last!

I met Lucy through the Altrusa Dawners a few years ago. She drew me in as if she had known me for years! A very special woman she was. Lucy Brown didn't have acquaintances, she had friends--all who were special to her. Her faith was a beacon to others; I've only known two others in my lifetime who always exhibited such strength in their belief. Lucy will be truly missed by the Lubbock community.

Lucy made everyone feel like they were the most important person in her life.
God bless you and comfort you in this time of sorrow.

I will truly miss Lucy. She was a beacon of sunshine when she came into the eye doctor. She would always nag me to call her daughter when I would be visiting San Diego. Such a sadness to lose her.

I met Lucy many years ago when I worked as an assistant manager at local McDonald's restaurants when I was fresh out of college. LUcy was a class act. She had a smile and a warm hug whenever she saw you. Lucy made every person she interacted with feel special.

My daughter told me about a wonderful woman she wanted me to meet. She was right! Lucy lit up the room with her lovely smile, lively conversation, and warm hospitality. I looked forward to our annual Christmas visits. It is always too soon to say goodbye, but may the good Lord comfort her precious Bill and family AND many friends at this time. Love to all.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Lucy. She will be missed. May the God who binds up the broken hearted and comfort all who mourn sustain your family during this difficult time. Isaiah 61:1,2
