Lucy Nita Cooney

I remember thinking how great it was when our family moved from New Franken to the big city of Green Bay to find I had cousins at St. Joes School, the Cooney boys, as Julie and Mary were already in high school. I will always think of Aunt Lucy having babies at her house, all those infants she cared for until they were placed for adoption. She had such a gentle disposition and always made you feel at ease.

My thoughts and prayers to her children, great-grandchlldren, and friends....

I BABYSAT FOR THE COONEY CHILDREN MANY YEARS AGO AND REMEMBER LUCY AS A WONDERFUL, KIND, CARING MOTHER. SHE WAS ALWAYS SWEET, WITH A CALM, REASSURING MANNER. I KNOW SHE WILL BE DEARLY MISSED. GOD'S BLESSINGS TO ALL THE FAMILY. SHARON (HUFF) SCHNEIDER

So sorry to hear of Lucy’s passing. She was a good neighbor. Deepest sympathy to the entire Coonen family. She has gone home to be with so many of all our loved ones.
