Not sure what to say?

Lu, Lu, Lu...Sooo many memories! So many great times- playing pool and watching Spinal Tap over and over and over. Only you could get away with going to the movies BARE FOOT since shoes were "over rated". Life is too short! Someday we'll meet again. Until then I'm glad to have good memories!

Lu, We loved you from the first time you went on vacation with our family. We will always remember boating on Clear Lake. The wild rides you gave us in our ski boat. The sunburns, the laughs, the fun. Just the start of your life entwined with ours. We will always love you and remember your smile. We fondly remember you every day. We miss you . All our love Mom & Dad V.

Lu was so personable, the minute you met him you were at ease because knew he was genuine and just a cool dude. I worked with him at Apple and always looked forward to hanging out with him outside of work. A good man who will never be forgotten.

I knew you before I knew my sister. I remember your house in Oakland. I remember a lot of adults speaking loudly, when we had our own secret world, and our own secret language the adults didn’t understand. Maybe your kids now speak to each other in that secret language. You lived so that they could live, so they could share the magic of childhood as we did. And your parents—who were parents of the highest order, carried, their sense of the primary importance of family across the ocean...

Lu,
I didn't know you that well myself but, I know what a great friend you were by the way Jeff talks about you. All of the great stories he and all of your friends have speak volumes to the kind of person you were. What I do know about you is the wonderful and unique way you made people feel comfortable and welcome. You made me feel that way the first time I met you and everytime I saw you. I always knew I would get a big welcoming hug from Lu. I will miss you.
I am glad you are...

"Time Flies" as the old adage goes and it's unbelievable how fast the last twenty years of our friendship, and especially the last year, have gone! I am so thankful that your pain and suffering are finally over. You dealt with it and handled it in the same cool, calm, and deliberate way you have lived your life. You are a true champion! I am so thankful to have been your friend and to have spent numerous times together at ball games, concerts, golfing, boating at the lake, or just chill'in...

Dude, I can't believe you are gone. You will never be forgotten by me or any of the many people who knew you and loved you. You are one of the best people I had the pleasure to know. Thanks for enlightening me.

Lu,
You were my original carpool buddy! I remember the first day I showed up at the carpool spot and you hadn't told any of the other guys that I would be joining you. Awkward for sure, but it all worked out and I made some great friends. Thanks for your friendship, laughs, and excellent company in traffic. I'll miss you.

Lu,
I can't possibly put into words how you have impacted my world in this life. It seems insane to think of the road ahead without you...although as I told you before we can never really lose each other. Our friendship and love is forever. Not a day will go by that you will not live in my heart.
Enjoy the other side, cuz.
Until we meet again,
All my love,
Rachel
