I woke from a nap thinking about Alan and Lupe, and was shocked to see that Lupe passed away. Alan, she was such a beautiful soul. I met her first when I worked for Spacecom at TDRSS, White Sands, and then was so happy to find another New Mexican (and you) when I transferred with TRW to work at Wayland and Lexington in 1987. Dear Alan,
So sorry to get this shocking news at such a late date. Please know that Jade and I are praying for you and your family. I only got a chance to me Lupe twice and I remember her to be a lovely, warm and friendly woman.

I had the honor and distinct pleasure to meet Lupe through her husband, Alan. Lupe was to me a very special person and lived life with a full heart.
