They remained great friends and traveling companions long after we moved from New Orleans. Much comfort to all Lynne's family. She shared her life and talents with so many people. I have so many food memories and Symphony Book Fair ones. But what has stuck with me is an incident at United Churches of Algiers for the annual Christmas Toy shopping experience for mothers. The custodian had forgotten to open the door to the Toy Store room. Lynn was a dear lovely lady. We shared many a meal around her table with our dinner group. She and Wilson we so kind to us when we lost our house in Katrina, giving us the keys to their condo to use while we tried to rebuild. We used it on several occasions while they were away on their summer trip that year. Reaching out to us was an act of kindness that was just like her.
