Not sure what to say?

Joanie, Liz and Family,

I am so sad about the passing of your Mom. You all were my second family when we were young and I know she will be missed terribly. My prayers are with you.

Mable hired me as a student working when I attended Texas A&M. I have fond memeories of Patsy Rose, Rachel, and of course Mable. That whole building was a wonderful place to work. She cooked us gumbo and as a poor straving college student, I remember quite clearly savoring every bite. What a wonder lady. I'm so glad she lived a long happy life.

Such a sweet lady! Always happy and smiling when we would see her at the Butler's home.

Mrs. Rek was a ray of sunshine every Thursday when she came in to pick up Joan for lunch. I looked forward to her visit because she always came in with a beautiful smile and how pretty she always smelled! She had such a funny and quick wit that I was ready to hear whatever she would say this time!!! :-) I think I looked forward to seeing her as much as Joan did. How I miss her but I hope that someday we shall meet again....

Mrs. Rek was the highlight of my week! I think I looked forward to seeing her just as much as Joan did for their Thursday lunches. She never came in without a smile and how sweet she always smelled. The first thing she would do is give me a hug and that made my day. Not to mention her quick wit! She was an amazing lady and I truly do miss her with all my heart.

Sorry for your loss, your mom was the kindest and most caring person I ever met. Worked with her in Admissions and bowled with her.

Mable was a wonderful, kind person and a great bowler. God bless her soul

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
