I am grateful for having known Kevin, both in grammar school and then at AVCO. Kevin was full of spirit, had a contagious laugh filled with joy, and his stories were so funny, whether they had to do with guard dogs and steaks, and then there was the one with helium, ducktape, and the airport. I will fondly remember my time with him. My sympathies to brother Ed, son David and daughter Sheridan.

A beloved cousin...dear Edward, please know I am thinking of you. Too many losses this year, it makes my heart hurt. For some reason, I kept thinking Kev's daughter's name was Mercedes...it is Sheridan! Please send David and Sheridan my condolences. We're always here, you know, for you. Kathy

Dear Edward, and Kevin’s children, grandchildren, family and friends,
I am sad to learn of Kevin’s unexpected passing last Sunday. We grew up together in the Chester-Adams-Caroline Street neighborhood----we enjoyed the liberties of riding bikes, and roaming Warsaw Park, and the Hotchkiss woods up the hilltop of Ansonia and Woodbrigde for hours of adventure and fun; we explored the old Ansonia airport, Rod & Gun Club, and running through the corn fields and barns of Massaro’s...

Ed, David, Sheridan, Jonathan, family and friends...With heavy hearts we send to you our deepest and most sincere condolences, for a man that was taken from you far too early, but whose memory will live on forever. Kevin's smile is something that will never fade away nor will the love and happiness he brought to our lives. Thank you for your service in defending our country but most of all, thank you for being a true friend. RIP Kev, you will be truly missed Ted, Beth, Tom and Becka

Dear Kevin,
You were like another brother and I will miss your humor and attention to life's wonders. You symbolized the strength of life-long friendship with your many adventures with Scot. Fate brought me together with David for many positive academic and creative journeys through SCSU and SCI and I know how proud you were of your son and Sheridan. You will live on always in my memories as a very strong man with a soft heart and a quick laugh.
With love to all of your family...

Kevin, I will always remember you in your Navy whites, when you and my brother John enlisted. Your mom was so proud of you. I remember when you brought home David, you were like a proud peacock! Sheridan had you wrapped around her finger since the day she was born. I will always remember when I graduated just after mom died, you took me aside and told me how proud you were of me. The night before I got married you came to me again and told me how happy you were for me and how proud my...

Kevin, you have been there for me since I was born, and I have ALWAYS considered you a second father. When my father passed, you were the one who stuck with us and comforted my whole family. Even when you were going through a tough time yourself, you made sure to always call and be strong for us. You were a true, genuine person. I consider you family, and always will. There will never be anyone like you Kevin, EVER. You truly were one of a kind who wore your heart on your sleeve. I can NOT...
