I'll never forget our years spent as neighbors in New Orleans. Everyday was an adventure and pure joy for me spending time with you. Though we had not seen one another for a long time, our phone calls always brought back those wonderful memories. I love you and will miss you. Till we meet again, rest peacefully my friend.

Dear Malcolm,
I will never forget your kindness. You always shared your knowledge with me when I was new to the design field. I thought of you as a walking talking encyclopedia of lighting design and fixture knowledge. To me you will always be Mr. Crystal Chandelier.

Malcolm could get me laughing at the drop of a hat. I'll remember his kindness and loving heart along with his sarcastic wit! He taught me to make red beans and rice and told me I made runny grits (I'd never made them before). When I was living in the apartment below him I have the fondest memories of hearing him sing in a beautiful deep baritone. I loved visiting him in his lovely home and admiring his orchids.
