MARGARET CLEVELAND, 85, passed away peacefully Friday, July 9, 2021, while under hospice care at Bayshire Rancho Mirage, Calif. She was surrounded by family when she went to her heavenly home. She was born June 11, 1936 in Woodburn, Ind. A graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School, she spent most of her career at Lincoln National Bank, and later through mergers at Wells Fargo Bank in Fort Wayne, Ind. She and her husband moved to California in 2014 to be closer to their children. A former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, she was very active in the church and contributed much of her time during retirement volunteering at a local food bank. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald Cleveland of Rancho Mirage, Calif.; her son, David Cleveland of Palm Springs, Calif.; and her daughter, Dawn Neas of Fountain Hills, Ariz. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 2021, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, Ind., with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday Aug. 5, 2021, at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church Food Bank.
