BETHALTO — Margaret Louise Layton, 80, of Bethalto, Illinois, died on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019.
Visitation is Monday, Dec. 16, 10 a.m., service at 1 p.m. at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Burial at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Loved you very much. More than a aunt more like a second mom. Will miss you dearly. Sympathy to all my cousins on a great lady's passing.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Layton family. Growing up I spent a lot of time in the Layton home and Margaret was the rock, and I know she will be missed by all. My memories of Margaret bring joy. May God bless you and your family during this time of grief and sorrow.
