Miss Margaret was one of the first people I met when I joined Petsworth Baptist Church over 15 years ago. I was a new Christian and she was such a wonderful encouragement to me. I just learned of your mother's passing via Laura Irby, our former classmate. Our families go back a ways to 1948 when we all moved into to our newly built homes on Chapel St. (Hampton). Margaret was a wonderful person. I knew her best at Petsworth Church, in Gloucester. and I was surprised to learn that she was the mother of Diane, who was my cousin Margaret Ferguson's best friend and neighbor. I also grew up in Memorial Baptist Church in Hampton as well as Tabernacle Methodist in Poquoson which is home to me too. Margaret's life was dedicated to GOD.
