Roanoke Valley, Virginia

Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

To her sister, my WFHS classmate, Irene, and to all of Margaret Anne's family, I extend my most sincere condolences.

To the Smith's and all of the Trinity family, you will remain in our thoughts.

Margaret Ann was one grand lady. It isn't just anyone who would repeat a beginning quilting class, just to make another person feel comfortable and welcome. That was Margaret Ann, always an example of Southern Hospitality and a genuine supporter to
everyone she met. I feel greatly privileged to have known her. She had a few curve balls thrown her way, and she handled them with dignity and grace. I will greatly miss her presences, her laughter, and her winning humor and smile. Diane...

Margaret Anne, my cousin, was always special to me when I was growing up. She was pretty and sophisticated, someone I could admire. We played endless games of casino and hearts at our grandparent's house, washed what seemed to be endless dishes, snapped beans for dinner, shared our school stories and showed off our best clothes to each other. Margaret Anne invited me to spend a weekend with her at Radolph-Macon Woman's College so I could decide if it would be the right college for me. ...

I am so sorry for your loss. Margaret & I had a special bond. We always had a laugh at the end of each visit. May God bless you & give you comfort during this difficult time.
