Margaret Vowell Obituary

Margaret Jane Vowell You will be missed dearly. Margaret Jane Vowell, 70, of Austin, Texas died early Monday afternoon October 20, 2008. Margaret was born on November 10, 1937 in California. She later moved to Austin, Texas with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Floyd R. Vowell, Sr. of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her loving children, Docia Vowell, Lloyd Vowell of Austin, Texas and Donald Vowell and wife Darla of Uhland, Floyd Vowell, Jr. and wife Jackie of Kyle, Harvey Vowell and wife Jeanette of Buda, Texas, Mark Vowell and fiancée Charlotte of Austin, Texas. Also, survived by her loving grandchildren, Christie Vowell, April Turman and her husband Michael, Casey Vowell, Tiffany Storm and her husband David Storm of Arizona, Rocky Jr. Rhymas and Amand, Jimmy Rhymas and Shannon, Stephanie Vowell, Donny Earl Vowell, Deanna Vowell, Misty Vowell, and Crystal Vowell. Also survived by her thirteen great-grandchildren, Emily, Cheyenne, K.K., Michael Wayne, Chance Michael, Ashley, Margaret Ann Jane, Rusty, Justin, Tiffany, Evan, Riley, Jess; and her adopted granddaughter, Mandy Sullivan. Also survived by four sisters, Joey Ash of Arkansas, Lola Jackson of Oregon, Ned Sain of California, Helen Pound of California, and many other family and friends. Margaret Jane was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 24, 2008 and funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home Austin, Texas on Saturday October 25, 2008. Special thanks to Brackenridge Hospital Health South, St. David's Hospital, and the Austin Fire Department and EMS for the care you gave our love one.
