"Margy" Margaret Louise Herold Brown

Margaret Louise Herold Brown, 79 of Pensacola, FL passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019.
She was born in Rolla, Missouri on June 22, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grayce and Paul Herold.
She graduated from the College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. Margy was the director of music for many Presbyterian churches in both Maryland and California. Her skills were appreciated for producing and directing the performances of Fiddler on the Roof and the adult choir performance of The Messiah, to name just a few.
Margy spent over 30 years of service in the Presbyterian Church. She was Director of Hospitality Service at Stony Point Conference Center in New York. In Louisville, Kentucky she served as Associate Director of Financial Aid and as Coordinator of church-wide personnel. Here in Florida, she was the stated clerk of this Presbytery from 1999 to 2005.
Margy and Don Brown married in 1977 and raised four children with love and patience.
Margy is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Don; older sister, Mary Kay Gething (Tom), her four children; Tim Brown (Jennifer), Kathy Goldsborough (Ridgely), Steve Brown (Yazzie), and Andrea Giuttari (Biagio); five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be 2:00pm Friday, August 2, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church, 33 E. Gregory St., Pensacola, FL 32502.
Her voice is now singing gloriously in the church triumphant.
