David and Maria grew up together and I met her in high school. All of us being 9th Warders, including her husband, we had a lot in common.
In later years, we became a four-some for playing cards and games. Maria was the Queen of Cards and Guru of Games. You couldn't get away with anything. She knew ALL the rules!
