MARIAH MICHELLE ROGERS, 29, departed this life on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at her devoted special friend at her side. Mariah, as she was  referred to, was born, March 20, 1992, in  New Albany, Indiana, the daughter of late Ronald Smiley and Evie Smiley.

Mariah received her education at Springfield High School. Later, she had seven (7) children.

Mariah worked for the Rumburger Bar & Grill as a cashier and receptionist. Soon after, she became a clerk at Goodwill Industries.

Ms. Rogers gave her life to Christ at an early age where she was baptized.  She was affiliated with Second Timothy Baptist Church.

Mariah Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Smiley; a son, Syven; a brother, Eugene Coleman. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Evie Smiley; birth mother, Mary Louise Rogers;grandmother; Frances Smiley, grandparents, Mary and Arthur McClain; (7) children, Lichelle Marie Rogers, Ne’Ontae Holmes, Sani Williams and E'Miracle Davis, Asilaj, and Nation Rogers; brother(s): Timothy Rogers, Alan Smiley, Michael Phillips; sister(s); Rhonda Smiley, and Tracy Williams.

Mariah loved all and was loved by all. Special loved ones remaining to cherish her memory, a companion, Marcus Harris; father, Howard; special: Uncle Lewis and Aunt Delanda McClain; and friend: Sherry Jefferson, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
