Paul and Beth,
I'm sorry to be so late to learn of your mother's death. I still remember her happy optimism, energy, talents, and creativity from the time she was our cub scout den mother -- she must have spent many hours dreaming up and preparing our projects, and clearly our ten cents a week dues never came close to covering her expenditures for our projects. Like my own mother, she was fun-loving and kind, and helped in any way she could.
I last saw your mother at St. Anne's 75th anniversary where we spoke near the end. I think I last spoke with your mother in spring 2015 while seeking leads to contact CBHS '65 alumni who had attended St. Anne, and I hoped to see her May 2016 at the reception at the closing of St. Anne School; at that time I was merely told she was too sick to come, which explained why I no longer received her e-mails. Recently I had need to review my log book and came across her phone number, only to discover today that it was disconnected.
We're all the poorer in her absence. God bless her!

Marie was such a wonderful lady and so energetic! I was able to get to know her through St. Anne's Altar Society. I valued her friendship and advice, but I loved her sense of humor! Everyone wanted to sit by her to hear her jokes, even the corny ones! And did she ever have talents...artistic, organizational, wit, to name a few. She was truly a dynamo! She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.

Beth,
We go way back, but I always enjoyed being around your family. I have seen your mother occasionally over the years and she always remembered me and asked about my family. She was a great leader at St. Anne who will be missed by many.
