Not sure what to say?

My musical life was shaped by Miss Trombetta and Mass was all the more beautiful with her organ playing and singing. Thank you Miss Trombetta!

Always a classy lady. My music teacher at OLPH as a child, and a colleague in later years. So nice to speak with & reminisce with her family. I was one of thousands influenced and guided by Marie. Rest in Peace.

God BlessYou Miss Trombetta. Your guidance through school has made us all better people.

I will always have fond memories of singing in Miss Trombetta's music class and in girls' choral. She taught that even if you don't sing well, you can sing out loud and with joy. She was a nice lady!

My dear friend, I will miss you. For the past 75 years you have been a treasured part of my life; from the time we met at St. Martin of Tours in the 1930's to working together during our years at OLPH, and the friendship we have maintained ever since. I have so many fond memories of the times we have shared over these many years.

I was a member of the first choir. Miss Trombetta was so much fun to work with. I remember her having us all sing a note as she walked around the music room to listen to who would be the altos and sopranos. My memories of her were happy ones. I pray for the repose of her soul, and for the family she left behind.

I will always remember midnight mass with Miss Trombetta. It was a highlight in my life.

Miss Trombetta was truly a gifted musician. I have so many wonderful memories of her organ playing at Sunday Mass, Easter, Christmas, Weddings, and even my father's funeral. She loved her music and truly enjoyed sharing it with her students. She had a terrific sense of humor and always made you feel good about yourself. I will miss her.

I was a student at OLPH and have many, many fond memories of Miss Trombetta. She was kind enough to recognize that I truly could not carry a tune, yet let me be included in the choir by dutifully turning the pages of the music book. She was truly a kind and caring woman who will be missed. My mom, who volunteered at the OLPH library also has fond memories of Miss Trombetta in the choir loft.
