I love you Terry

Spending vacations in St Thomas and the Berkshires with the Riis family were some of the highlights of my youth. Mrs. Riis was always very nice and tough, RIP to a great lady !

Oh dear Riis family. I am sad to hear this news :( How we loved our times with you all growing up and how our parents cherished the long time beautiful friendship with your mom and dad, especially their annual 4th celebration together. Im thinking of you all and sending Doering love. What a long and beautiful life she lived. You have been blessed and how special to have your dear father still with you. Beatrice Doering Shea

Oh Mrs. Riis! As a kid, I'd always be happy to see her when I passed by. What a beautiful woman! I'm sorry to hear of her passing....

I am sorry to hear the loss of Mrs. Riiis!! As a young boy into my young adult life, she was a great neighbor on Wesskum Wood Rd. I enjoyed visiting her and talking to her in her kitchen. She and John put on great Fourth of July parties. Mrs. Riis had great positive energy and always put a smile on my face. Her fun lifting spirits will always exist.

No matter how friendly we all were, it is just too easy to lose touch over time, and I'm sorry for that, John. We enjoyed such nice dinners cooked by Terry. Her appetizers were great too. As I remember Terry, she was on the quiet side with a little laugh, but she was STRONG (Even stronger than you John!) Whenever I drove up the hill past your house, we always wondered where you guys moved to. So sorry.
