Memories of growing up in Starkville, on Bulldog Circle. How lucky I was as a latchkey child of the early eighties to have the Dolsens as neighbors! What richness Marijana brought into my life! How many extraordinarily good simple and unusual family dinners did I find myself seated at, Marijana no doubt aware that I'd be fending for myself at home, with my single Mom still on campus studying for her masters degree after her day at work. I just LOVE how the little-girl Marijana looks like the Marijana, older than I am, that I knew and loved. I am having a tree planted, I know not where, but I know she'll know and watch over it.
