I was lucky enough to get to know Mickey through her daughter Teri. Teri and I rode horses together many years ago. I remember Mickey's warm and fun loving personality. I also worked briefly with her at the Dept. of Corrections where she was a wonderful and fun person to work with. I know she will be greatly missed by her family.

My Granny was the most inspirational person I have ever met. A person that always had the right answer. Her passing, yet hard, is easier to cope since I know that her and my grampa are together again. A couple that showed what a true love relationship is all about. I just heard today that Marilyn passed away and my heart is so sad. We did not know each other well, she called me for real estate advice and took pleasure in showing me her lovely historic home. I actually read the obituary and remembered it was but didn't know her as Mickey and didn't connect the young girl in the picture with the down to earth senior I had the pleasure of getting to know. My sympathy to all of you in the family. She was a very special lady.

Mickey you were a real "fighter" in many ways...a true inspiration to all of us. Your unselfish dedication to the success of the American Legion Post in Snohomish is a legacy! You were a true "trooper" and we are proud to have been a part of your personal life as well as you military life. You will always be with us.

I worked with Mickey for a time at the Nielsen law firm and she was a delightful co-worker and friend. I hope her family bears her passing well.

To a wonderful family I would only like to say that Aunt Mic was a geat lady and I will miss her very much. My thoughts are with you in love and memory.
