Marjorie or as we knew her, Margie was my cousin and god-mother. She shared god mothering responsibility with her older sister Nina. Both ladies lived together with Nina´s husband and their mother, for many years. Marjorie spent years researching the Shostak family history, and created an extensive family tree that dated back to the 1700s. This was long before DNA tracing became the norm. I was honored to have gotten to know Ms. Shostak during my days at the Foreign Trade Association. She was a kind, generous and brilliant woman, respected and admired by everyone who was privileged to know her. She is sincerely missed.

I wish I had an opportunity to meet an extraordinary lady who is a relative. My grandmother was Goldie Shostak. My sincere sympathy to the family.

What a lovely lady cousin Margie was. I wish my family had a chance to know her better. Best wishes to the family there from my Mom, cousin Marion Marks, daughter Rina, husband Sal Tringali, and our kids Sara and Anthony.
