Not sure what to say?

Dr. Sparkman was my all-time favorite professor.

RN/BSN Completion Program 1981

I love you my precious Angel.

I still remember sitting in A & P class and Dr. Sparkman explaining things in such a way that it was easy to understand. She would get so iinvolved in the lecture and be so passionate about it. And after explaing how a
certain system works she would look out over the class and say "isn't it exciting". What a great teacher. Sparky thanks for all that you did for so many. Your legacy lives on in the students you taught and the care and roles that they now all pass on in...

I loved Frances, Dr. Marjorie Sparkman, so much. Frances was my mother's first cousin, I had decided that if I ever had children that if I had a girl I would name her Frances but alas that was not in the cards as I gave birth to a boy in 1984. She was probably my favorite person in the whole world except for my only child, my son. She was the epitome of kindness and sweetness. I always loved being around her and wish we had lived closer. I was always welcome to come visit and stay overnight,...

Dr. Sparkman was an outstanding teacher, mentor and friend. Her enthusiasm for teaching and her knowledge of A & P were astonishing. And, she was a beautiful person. I greatly, greatly admired her.

To her family: Please accept my expression of sympathy.

Dr. Sparkman was the most memorable professor and mentor that I have ever had. She always made learning "exciting". She will be missed. Michael Hale JD, RN, BSN

My deepest sympathies and respect to you all. Dr.Sparkman will live on through the hearts and souls of each nursing student she taught. A most honarable woman and the epitome of nursing education. I am grateful for having known her.
Deb Nicoll FSU'81',87

Dr. Sparkman was a true inspiration to all nursing students. She had such a passion for the profession, students, school, and patients. I will always remember her saying that we should love with our liver because it is such an important organ. I still say this today. You will be greatly missed and forever loved. What an amazing lady. Thank you for making me the RN that I am today. Class of Dec/1980

Sad to hear of Dr. Sparkman's passing. She was one of the unforgettable instructors I ever had - so passionate about the subject (A&P) and committed to her students. Prayers for her and her family.
