Not sure what to say?

Sorry I wasn't able to make it to the funeral. My best remembrance of Mark was of him taking me sailing as about an eleven year old up at the cabin.

I thought I'd died and going to heaven that this older cousin would spend time with me. I remember back at the cabin there were lots of picnic tables, older male relatives in checkered shirts, and my grandma and the other older Swede ladies scurrying around preparing lunches, or something.

Granted, at that age I cared alot...

I went to Minnehaha Academy with Mark. I just want his family and friends to know that you are all in my prayers. If I was in MN I would gladly attend the funeral, but I am in Nashville. May God surround you in his loving arms.

Helen, Bruce and family: please know that Betty and I hold you in our loving intercessions as you bid farewell to a son, brother, dad, husband, grandfather, and friend. Mark's struggle is now over and he is 'safe in the arms of Jesus'! As you go through these days, may you be assured that 'whether we live or die, we are the Lord's...that absolutely nothing--not even death--can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord....what eye has not seen, ear has not heard, and mind has...
