I can't believe that he's gone, I take comfort in the fact that he is in a better place now but am saddened that he was taken too soon. Growing up he was my first friend, together we'd go on adventures which was easy because he had such a vivid imagination. As he got older he always kept his childlike charm always brightening up a room with laughter with his wonderful stories and great sense of humor. The last time I seen him he was with his family and happy. Our daughters were playing together and I couldn't wait to see them grow to have a relationship like we did when we were kids. I am so happy that he finally found someone who he could trust with his heart and start a family. Annette you are in my prayers you have no idea how much it meant to be able to see him so content and such a proud father. I always knew he would be and you made him realise that dream. We are all are here for you whenever you need us, we love you and will always be family. We are mourning the loss but we have to remember that our ultimate destination is where he is. I'm comforted in the fact my grandfather is there with him and that I'll be seeing their friendly faces when it's my time. I love you Mark and hope I expressed it enough while you were here.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Mark a couple of times. One was at Autumne's third birthday party. The memory stands out because I was so impressed at how attentive he was with her, so in love he seemed with that baby girl. He even referred to her as ,"My Love."

MARK SPEND ALOT OF TIME WITH MY FAMILY. I HAVE KNOW HIM FOREVER. I WOULD PICK HIM UP AND HE WOULD HANG OUT WITH MY CHILDREN AND I UNTIL MY HUSBAND BRYON GOT HOME, HE ALWAYS LOVED MY COOKING AND HE LOVED TO BBQ WITH US. HE WAS ALWAYS GOOD TO MY KIDS. I AM SO THANKFUL THAT HE FOUND LOVE AND HAPPINESS AND MADE A WONDERFUL LIFE FOR HIM SELF WITH HIS WIFE AND DAUGHTERS. I AM SO PROUND OF THE PERSON HE BECAME. I WILL MISS HIS BIG HUGS. OUR SON JEFFREY LOVED HIS UNCLE MARK AND LOVED PLAYING VIDEO GAMES WITH HIM, HE WILL FOREVER STAY IN OUR HEARTS AND WILL ALWAYS BE UNCLE MARK TO MY FAMILY.

My brother
We have never met face to face. We did not grow up together, nor did we spend holidays or summers together, Due entirely on circumstances outside of our control. But though we do not share memories of childhood or adulthood, we walked a similar path. We were Soldiers. We both at one time in our lives wrote a blank check to the American people for up to and including our very lives. Even after our obligation to serve was met, and we put away our boots we remain true to out oath; to support and defend the constitution of these United States and bear true faith and allegiance to the same and to the People. Rest well, brother Mark. Your watch is done. The line is secure.

Our prayers go out to Marks family and loved ones. We remember Mark as a boy then a grown man with a million dollar smile. With a BIG heart and a desire for life and to help those in need. A leader. We are sorry to hear he passed so soon. We are grateful for our Lords Plan. Until we see him again, we will have loving memories of times spent together.

You will never know what you meant to me. I was blessed to have met you 20 years ago and then to have you come back into my life for only a short matter of time. You were a great man a hero who would sacrifce his own for others. I wish you only knew how loved you really were by many. As you alwasy said I will sleep when Im gone. I hope you can rest easy now.
