Not sure what to say?

I am so sad to hear about Martin's passing. I went through the MMTEP program with him and got my Master's in his program. His passion for teaching has always inspired me and helped make me a good teacher. I think of him often and will miss him. My condolences to you, Jill and your family. Ingrid London (Norfolk, VA)

I am so very sorry to hear about your Dad! I had your father while I was pursuing my Masters in Education, and I so enjoyed him and his lectures! I learned a lot from him, and always felt very priviledged that I did get to know him. He was very inspirational to many of us, and will be greatly missed. Blessings to you and your family!

Jill:

Although we have never met, I wish to extend condolences to you and your family regarding your dad.

Marty was quite instrumental in setting me on my path in doctoral studies both at UW-M, and at his former place of employment, Rutgers.

He was always instructing, mentoring, and serving as a wonderful and positive pedagogue in all my academic endeavors.

I am sure he and John Dewey will be having some wonderful conversations in the years to come.

Jill-
I am saddened to hear about your Dad.Our fathers came to UWM at the same time, and shared great careers together, along with a deep friendship. I have many fond memories of the Haberman's, dinners, trips, etc..May you and your family find peace at this time.
