Not sure what to say?

Only knew Marty as a young boy. Vividly remember him as a young boy playing piano at my parents´ s home in Buffalo. He was gifted both intellectually and musically.

I was astonished to hear of Marty's premature death. He is the first of my generations of cousins to pass away. Though I did not know him as an adult, I remember when he was born, his marimba and piano playing, and his intelligence. My husband Marty and I send our condolences to all who mourn him. My name is Tammy Madden. Dr. Michaels saved my daughter's life when she was just 11 months old. He diagnosed her with cardiomyopathy. He quickly got her to a hospital that could save her life. He never gave up on her after she sustained a severe brain injury and his wife became her Ocuupational Therapist and remains her OT to this day. I have never had two such loving people take care of my child. While Megan was in Atlanta waiting on her heart there was never a day that went by that Dr....

I am a sales rep (Chattanooga area) for PDI, Inc and use to call on Dr. Michaels when I had North GA. I heard about the loss yesterday from another doctor here in Chattanooga. I am so sorry, he will be missed not only by family but the community of Dalton. He was well spoken of and I always enjoyed the time that we talked. May the love of God surround you during this time of sorrow. .........Deborah Roberts

I knew Marty for many years and had the privilege of working beside him, being his friend, and the ability of having my children taken care of by him. He was truly a kind man, a great physician, and a wonderful human being. All who knew him, know that we are all blessed to be touched by him.
My prayers go out to his family for their loss.

Marty was our childhood friend. And, even though we did not know it then, Marty was the inspiration for us all. Marty showed us how to persevere, seek a higher goal, accomplish your dreams, and do the right thing. And Marty did it all with a sense of humor, a sense of selflessness and humility, even though he had the most to boast about. Thank you Marty, for the inspiration, which I will continue to carry with me and cherish.
