Not sure what to say?

We were so shocked and disheartened to hear about Marty. I can remember him since he was little and Mama D kept the boys dorm. His grandparents, parents and Marty were very influential in my and my family's life. Marty was carrying on a great legacy. It's always hard to have a loved one go but we know there are loved ones waiting on the other shore to embrace them and guide them to God's throne. They are being laid into the arms of God ... that's the day we live for. May God bless the family...

My heartfelt sadness for the Pickup family at this time.

He left us too soon, our hearts hurt. Life will not be as bright without our teacher, preacher, elder and friend. He taught us "truth" with all his might. He taught us to always be ready to meet God and then showed us how it's done. His example in life and in death will never leave us. Thoughts and prayers for his precious family who will grieve beyond words. Until we meet again Brother Marty.

I'll see you in Heaven. You where one of my best teachers. love u my friend.

I knew Martin as one of my regular customers for many years. He was great guy and I learned much from listening to his Bible lessons online.
My prayers go out to all his family and friends.

We send our heartfelt prayers to brother Marty's wife, children, parents, extended family and all brethren and friends who were touched by this faithful Christian.

Mr. Pickup was an amazing teacher and preacher of the gospel. I learned so much from him every time I heard him speak. I appreciated his diligence in answering the error of today's scholars and I don't know another preacher like him who is so effective in this. My heart goes out to the family, and may us all strive to be a student and scholar of God's word as Marty was.

Harry and Joella,

We realize there are no words that will fill the hole that is in your hearts, so our hope is that the teardrops of your sorrow will blend with the sunshine of your memories and surround you with a rainbow of comfort and peace. Heaven certainly has become more beautiful. Our prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry to see a faithfull christian and gospel preacer and man who much character pass on to the Lord, but know he is in good hands.
