Not sure what to say?

I had many problems with math (Ludlowe Class of 73). Mr. Ryan was the only Math teacher that ever really reached me and I got a "B" in his class. Best math grade I ever had. This man had an ability to reach his students and help them learn. Although I have not seen Mr. Ryan since 1973 to this day I thank Mr. Ryan in my heart for his compassion and extraordinary ability in teaching. I knew his daughter Kathy in Ludlowe and send her and the rest of her family my condolences.

A fine man and a wonderful teacher. Kind, funny, always willing to go the extra mile for students and friends. Condolences to the family.

Marty was a great teacher and great family man!! My sympathies to the Ryan family. Ron Luneau

Dear Kathy, Tina, Ken, Marty and all your family, I’m so sad for your loss. Marty was such a dear friend to our family, and one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. I have fond memories of our “Uncle Marty”, always with a twinkle in his eye.
Pipe smoke and the sounds of baseball games on tv still remind me of the many nights he and Dad sat downstairs watching a game together.
Both of your parents meant so much to me growing up, and they still do. May he Rest In Peace. He will...

Mr. Ryan was the finest teacher at Ludlowe. He was kind, and considerate and Very patient with his students. I am but one of the people that his brief touch in life made a difference in the way my life turned out. Thank you Mr. Ryan.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I had Mr Ryan tutor me when I was a student at Ludlowe. He was so patient and kind. RIP Mr. Ryan. The angels have gained a beautiful soul.

Kathleen, Christine, Kenneth, Martin and Family

Thoughts and prayers to all on your loss.

I have known Marty for over 30 years, through sports, (Marshwood football and wrestling).

He was a great mentor to all who knew him.

RIP

Dear Kathy, Tina, Kenny and Martin - Your Dad was a wonderful and kind gentleman and the best and most patient math teacher ever. Mr. Ryan and I could always share a laugh that (only with his help) I finally managed to pass Algebra. At this very sad time, I am sending you all my very deepest sympathy, Vicky Fingelly

Dear Ryan Family, Please accept sincerest prayers and condolences at this difficult time. "Mr. Ryan" was one of the best Math teachers I ever had at Roger Ludlowe. He could explain everything well so we could all understand, and he had a wonderful sense of humor while doing it. (He made Statistics a breeze! ) Rest in Peace, Mr. Ryan.
