Brownfield- Marvin G. Dawson of Brownfield Texas Passed away January 15, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. Services will be held Tuesday January 19, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Brownfield at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be Monday January 18, 2021, from 5 pm - 7 pm at the Brownfield Funeral Home. Please use a mask and observe social distancing.

Marvin was such an amazing man. We sure loved him and loved his stories. He had jokes all day long. He will surely be missed.

I had the great pleasure and honor to serve with Marvin in the City of Brownfield from 1992 - 1998. I always admired Marvin and had great respect for his knowledge. He was well respected in fire department circles around the State of Texas. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to his wife Diane, and sons Michael and Jeremy and their entire family. May you Rest In Peace, sir! We’ve got it from here. Our earthly loss is Heaven’s gain!
