Not sure what to say?

We are truly saddened by Marvin's passing. We all have lost a wonderful, kind person we are blessed to remember fondly. One only has to review the many expressions of sympathy, from all parts of the U.S., to understand the magnitude of Marvin's impact on others. May he rest in peace and may you and your family find love, support and comfort in knowing you are in the prayers and thoughts of many, who like us, loved and respected him dearly. All the best to you and your family as you cope...

Dear Teddy and family, God's blessings be with you. My heart weeps with your heart missing Marvin.

It's a crazy thing we were kids together, high school together and then only seen each other at class reunions but when we saw each other and talked to each other it was like we were kids again catching on on lost time. Being Marvin's friend truely meant friends for life. He is unforgettable, kind, compassionate, caring and more and more and more. Another wonderful thing he did was...

SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT MARVIN. YOU HAVE OUR SYMPATHY. WE HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR THE MORRIS FAMILY.

We are the Scarabs the mighty, mighty Scarabs! Marvin was a true Gentle Giant, I will not forget our times together at the Detroit jazz festival. Teddie ,Marvin was blessed to have you and you to have that Gentle Giant with that loving smile and infectious laugh. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY Always, Mary and Moses

Only met Mr. Morris a couple of times but I regard Marvin like a brother. Sorry for you loss and I am keeping your family in my prayers!!

We were very sorry to here of Marvin's passing. In the many years of working with Marv at plt 6 I counted him as a fiend and enjoyed listening to his infectious laugh. I pray he rests in peace with our Lord.

My condolences on the loss of Marv. I had the pleasure to work with him many years ago. He taught me much about people. I remember his big laugh and big smile. A fine man.

Sending my prayers and condolences to Marvins family. It was an honor and joy to have known such a great man. I've known very few men in my life with the high level of integrity that Marvin displayed. He was a true advocate for the students and he will be sorely missed. May God bless his family with comfort and strength in this difficult period....

Truly a gentle giant. Didn't have Marv for a supervisor at SSG but always had time to stop and speak. That perpetual smile and voice will stay with me forever. Rest in peace Marv and may God give the Morris family strength now and in the days and months ahead.
