condolences on the loss of your loved one she will be missed by all that knew her from the gray family

I have been thinking about all of you since Steele called with the news about Aunt Mary. Since I was a little boy I always felt excited to see Uncle Billy and his family. The absolutely wonderful smiles and gentleness of the family left me feeling "I want to be like them". Aunt Mary was always interested to know how I was doing. She might say "How is Monty doing". She had great mental capacity and insight. We will miss her. God bless you all in this time of sorrow. ...

Dear Bill & Family, Betty and I were shocked when we learned of Mary Strothers passing. We apologize for not attending family night and her funeral, but we didn't learn of her passing until today Saturday,February 6. We found Mary Strother to be a kind and generous individual. She shared medical information with Betty in regard to eye problems and encouraged Betty to keep her appointment at John Hopkins Eye Center. She always had good advise for us. We know the adjustment will be difficult...

My deepest sympathy on your loss. Miss Mary was a sweet lady who loved to talk about her family & how everyone was doing. It was a treat when she would bring her cookies to us on one of her visits. God bless you all. M. Payne

Bill and Family,
We are so very sorry to hear about Mary's passing. I enjoyed so much knowing her and hearing about her dreams for all her children and their families. Mary made so many contributions to the VMD Educational Scholarship Foundation when it was first established. In its early days she worked diligently and tirelessly with me to raise start-up funds. I'll always remember those special efforts and her very real zest for life. Our sincere and loving thoughts are with you...

My deepest sympathy. Hazel
