I don't know you, Monica, but I imagine you are as sweet as Jimmy and Bella. The little acorns don't fall far from the tree. Your Mom was a lovely person. And very funny. The last time I saw her, she was having breakfast with Bella and Jimmy at Amy's in Ursula Plaza. She was one of those people who make you feel young again. Sorry for your loss. That never goes away. I still drive down my parents' old street only to remember that they are not there. xoxox, Cheryl Crawford

I am so saddened to hear of Mary’s passing, but I rejoice with you in knowing that she rests in the Everlasting arms of Jesus. She has always been a teacher and an encourager to all. It was my priviledge to know and too love her.

I have 2 connections with Mary. One was through my Mom, Billie Matson who taught in the Oceanport Schools when Mary was the librarian there. After retirement the continued to be friends through a group of retired teachers from Oceanport for many years. I also knew Mary at Shrewsbury Assembly of God and will always remember her friendly greetings,
her wacky sense of humor, and her unwillingness to follow the crowd. Mary broke the mold in many ways. I always remember her with fondness and...
