Not sure what to say?

Joe, Dot, Tom, Don and your entire extended family:

I just heard about your loss. Those of us who were lucky enough to know Mrs. Devilbiss as our first grade teacher, or just from around town and church; have many fond memories of her. We know you must have many, many more of this wonderful lady and your good times together.

I can still remember her fun-loving ways of teaching us via her banjo and the appliance boxes she let us decorate and use as playhouses in frist...

Joe,
Sorry to hear that your mother passed away.We just hear about it.We are in FL. Our son Troy told us about it. She was a very fine Lady and Good teacher. Ellwood and Betty Cosgrove

Tom, Joe, Dot, and Don,
Your mom was one of those rare individuals who could light up a room just by her presence. Her love and selflessness were evident in all she did and said. While I never had her as a teacher, I was always envious of those who had the pleasure of being one of her students. Your mom brought joy to many lives and many of us, including my mom, will miss her very much. May the memories of her bring you comfort.

She was my first grade teacher in 1976. A very special person and teacher. I have thought of her many times over the years and have even told my own children about the best teacher I ever had. She has had a real impact in my life and will be missed by many, but never forgotten. This world needs more teachers like she was.
My thoughts and sympathy are with you at this difficult time.

Tom, Joe, Dot and Don,
I was very sorry to hear about the death of your mother. She was a great lady. She was my first grade teacher, which got my school career off to a great start. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I would like to send my condolences to the Absher Family for the loss of your loved one.

What a wonderful first grade teacher we had! So long ago (1975), but I remember Mrs. Devilbiss so, so fondly. My condolences to the family.
All the best,
Ruby Palmer (Brooklyn, NY)

Miss Dot and Family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother! She was a beautiful lady and I know that she is in peace now! She was a wonderful friend to my grandmother (Alice Robinson) and as we speak they are probably writing in clouds and playing a game of bridge! May God's peace be with you and yours and if you need anything call upon us!
Love to you!
