Mary Etta Dietrich-Rieffel

Went to be with her Lord Sunday, November 1, 2015 at St. Mary?s of Michigan in Saginaw, after a lengthy illness; age 76 years. Mary Etta Campbell was born on November 10, 1938 in Robertson County, KY to the late Howard (Ellena) Campbell. She moved with her family to Saginaw in the 1940?s and graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1956. She was married to Theodore J. Dietrich, he predeceased her in 1977. She later married Mark Rieffel on April 26, 1988; he survives her. Mary was employed by Dial Tent and Awning until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of Frankenmuth United Methodist Church and active in the church. She was also active in the Special Olympics and liked to bowl and dance.
Surviving besides her husband Mark are; children, Arthur (Judy) Dietrich of Beaverton, MI, Theodore J. ?Teddy? (Judy) Dietrich III of Midland, MI, Sherry Story of Vermont, Bryan (Becky) Dietrich of Freeland, MI, Erick (Sherry) Dietrich of Carrolton, MI, Mary Paige Rieffel of Columbus, OH; ; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer, Andy, Teddy, Tamara, April, Christopher, Gavin, Spencer; 19 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Sheila Leahy of Midland, MI, Peggy (Earl) Schell of Greensboro, NC, Kathe (Brian) Lombard of Saginaw, MI, Su (Floyd) Hollingsworth of Hemlock, MI, Bobbi (Dave) Krauss of Pinconning, MI, Sande Nightingale of Clinton, Twp, MI.
Mary Etta was preceded in death by; a granddaughter, Erica; a brother, Howard Jr. ?Howie? Campbell; a brother-in-law Michael Leahy.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Frankenmuth United Methodist Church, 346 Vates St., Frankenmuth, MI. Rev. Scott Harmon will officiate with entombment in Chapel Hill in Freeland, MI. Mary Etta?s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
